Beyoncé-Knowles Carter is ́showsfansherlongnaturalhairandrevealswashdayroutineusingCéshowing off her long, healthy hair and just how well her Cécred hair care line works on her natural hair.
The Grammy Award winning singer posted an archival video to her Instagram on Sunday, dubbed "Cécred Wash Day" by Beyoncé and many others, to share her wash day ritual using the products and send a message to fans.
She starts off the video saying, "Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for your hair, I think it's about time I show y'all what it does for my hair." And she does exactly that, as she sits in her stylist Neal Farinah's chair for a luscious wash and press.
Beyoncé also made sure to address any criticism about her own hair saying, "The sigma and misconception is that people that wear wigs don't have healthy and long hair. That's some bulls*** cause it ain't nobody's business."
In the caption Beyoncé wrote: "Being disruptive and challenging everything people feel should be the process has always been exciting to me. My hair and music seemed to do that a lot over the years…"
She added, "Maintaining 25 years of blonde on natural hair through all the experimenting I do has played a huge part in developing @cecred’s products. It’s the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but @cecred is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts. Congratulations to the entire CÉCRED team for contributing to developing award-winning products."
Beyoncé first launched her acclaimed hair care line Cécred on Feb. 20, and it boasted of strengthening and soothing all types of hair, as well as protecting it from damage. While many fans flocked to buy the products, some folks worried about the singer's own natural hair journey and use of the line.
In this video alone, Beyoncé quiets this discourse, revealing that while she does wear wigs, she also maintains healthy hair, even with blond color. In the clip, it also becomes clear she wore her own hair during the Cécred launch party, which could have been mistaken for long extensions.
The hair care line seems to be beloved by fans of all textures, and Beyoncé makes it clear she's proud of the quality of these products.
